The Under Canvas is a glamping resort open from mid-April to October located about 25 minutes from the South Rim entrance to Grand Canyon National Park. It is 1 hour from the Flagstaff airport, 3 hours from the Phoenix airport, and 3.5 hours from the Las Vegas airport.

Serving hot breakfast 7 am – 10am daily, Grab-and-go lunch and afternoon snack options, and upscale American menu sourced from local ingredients from 5 pm – 10 pm nightly.
Accommodations
1. Tents
There are a variety of tent options. Families may request a pack ‘n play (free), a camping cot (max 1 per tent), or a kids’ tent adjacent to the main tent.
- Suite Tent – Largest tent, accomodates up to 4 people with 1 King bed and a Queen sleeper sofa in the sitting area. Includes a private bathroom, private porch, and a wood burning fireplace.
- Stargazer Tent – accommodates 2 people with 1 King bed and a private bath. This tent has a stargazing window above the bed, a private deck and wood burning fireplace.
- Deluxe Tent – Accommodates 2 people with a King bed and a private bathroom. It also has a private deck and a wood burning fireplace.
- Safari Tent – The smallest tent, accommodates 2 people and does not have a private bath. Guests of the Safari tent will use a shared bathhouse for shower, sink, and toilets. The bath house has private, lockable rooms.
- Kids’ Tent – Accommodates 2 children with 2 twin beds. There is not a patio or fire place in this tent. It will be assembled adjacent to the main tent of the family.
2. Amenities
Tents do not have wifi or electricity. There is a battery powered lantern, fan, and device charger that can charge 2 phones. Remember, this is why you came here – unplug and enjoy it!
If more battery power is needed for a medical device, you can call the resort ahead of your arrival to arrange this.
All accommodations include bedding, towels, and bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand sanitizer).
3. Pets
Dogs are welcome for a $25/night fee.
